Craig Jon’s passion for UK hard house and trance is unmistakable and uncompromising. Originally born in Manchester and now living in Melbourne Australia, Craig has been spinning tunes for more than 25 years. From his roots in early rave, Craig’s passion for dance music progressed to Hard House and Trance when he moved to London in the mid 90’s. After picking up a residency at Underground party Odyssey, Craig played alongside some of the biggest and most high-profile names at event promotions such as Fevah, Fahrenhite and at his own event brand, Just 1 More. Recognising his ability to rock a crowd, Fevah booked Craig to tour New Zealand in the early 2000’s. Shortly after he teamed up with local Hard House producer Banga Matt for his debut productions ‘Jam Hot’ and ‘Placetaker’ which were released on Arktik Records.
Since moving to Melbourne in late 2001, Craig has been an influential figure in the Melbourne Hard House scene as both a DJ and event promotor. After landing in Melbourne, Craig played the midnight set at Frantic NYE securing a residency where he played alongside crowd favorites such as Andy Farley, BK and Phil Reynolds. Craig then teamed up with Local Melbourne DJ Ben Kakoschke to launch their promotion BPM working with high profile producers such as Paul Glazby and Steve Blake for their up close and personal series. Craig then hooked up with Fevah once more to launch Fevah Australia hosting events in Melbourne including Fevah’s 15th and 20th birthday celebrations. More recently he was fortunate to be asked to play in NZ for London Hard House Reunion in Auckland and is a regular for the awesome Rewind parties in Brisbane.
