Floody

MHHC DJ

Floody’s love of turntables, mixing, & electronic music was born in Sydney in the very early 90s. An excited raver then clubber and it wasn’t long before he was behind the decks, a fast-rising regular on the Sydney party circuit with residencies at all the popular clubs including the most infamous Blackmarket Dayclub.
Embracing his passion for the harder edge of music, Floody played at parties with brands such as Frantic and Fevah Australia alongside industry icons such as Andy Farley, Lab 4, and Nick Sentience to mention a few as well as regular guest DJ sets at Gas, Icebox, Daydreams and more before making the move to the UK to continue his DJ journey.
The London scene was thriving, House and Electro were at their pinnacle and Floody established his signature funky & rocking electric sound, soon delivering his energetic sets throughout London clubs such as Heaven, Camden Palace, Brixton Academy, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, EGG, U4ria at the Cook as well as regular sets with Sundazed, Lock Stock, Heat UK and resident for the infamous FINGER warehouse parties.
Playing at numerous elite clubbing events with the likes of Roger Sanchez, Armand Van Helden, Steve Lawler, and Carl Cox to name a few, Floody also established his own house and clubbing brand “DirtyFunkySexy” where he hosted his own club nights as well as touring internationally throughout Asia, Canada and Europe including playing at the Illustrious “SPACE” in Ibiza.
With a passion for DJing, Mixing and Quality Tunes he is a true multi-genre DJ playing everything from Driving Progressive, Techno, Tech House, and Trance but has truly revived his love for the Harder Beats Smashing out Uplifting, Cheeky and Energetic Hard House sets.
These days firmly back in Australia Floody has still been kicking it up a gear, a short while ago DJ’ing on Sydney Harbour as a resident for the well-known Shipwrecked boat parties and a regular on the Frantic e-Motion boat parties.

We are honoured to have Floody as a member of the Melbourne Hardhouse Collective
