MHHC DJ

Vossie’s journey into the world of “rave” music began in the vibrant scene of London in early 1997. It was at Escape from Samsara, held at the Fridge, where he first encountered the electrifying allure of harder beats, igniting a profound passion within him. His time in London saw him immersed in the clubbing culture, where venues like Fevah, Fahrenheit, Frantic, Sunny Side Up, Odyssey, Sunflowers, and many more became his second homes. It was during this period that his connection with Hard House deepened, evolving into an unwavering devotion.
However, in ’99, he bid farewell to London, but the beats never left him as he remained closely tied to the music, constantly immersing himself in Hard House mixes. In 2008, Vossie’s life took him to Australia, and fate brought him back into the arms of the clubbing scene when he reunited with a bunch of his London clubbing friends at Fevah’s 15th birthday party at Room 680. The spark reignited, and his passion was reborn.
Fast forward to 2020, during the Melbourne COVID lockdowns and Vossie’s enthusiasm found a new outlet with the LDL crew. This was his happy place, where the beats were relentless and conversations flowed freely. During lockdown, Vossie invested in a Pioneer DJ controller and an extensive library music starting with the classic tunes from his London days to some hard-hitting new tracks. He spent countless hours honing his mixing skills, learning to perfect the art of layering beats, and giving his all to this craft.

We are honoured to have Vossie as a member of the Melbourne Hardhouse Collective
